GJUST admissions usually begin in June for UG and PG courses with the opening of registration portal. The applications open online and continue till July. For PhD courses, the application forms are usually released in the first week of August. The university concludes the admission within a month.

Once the candidates are shortlisted for UG or PG course based on merit or entrance exam, candidates are required to come for GJUST Counselling. The university verifies the documents of the candidates during the counselling process for final admission. Below are the documents required during GJUST Counselling:

  • Result of qualifying exam
  • Certificates of Class 10 and Class 12
  • Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
  • Proper Sports certificate, if weightage claimed, issued by the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of Haryana
  • Character Certificate
  • Submission of proof of qualifying examination

Yes, BA (Hons) and BA (Hons) Research Mass Communication is a four-year course offered by GJUST. The university offers BA (Hons) at the UG level. After completing Class 12, candidates can apply for BA (Hons) course. The university shortlist candidates for BA (Hons) based on GJUST Entrance Test.

Additionally,  Directorate of Distance Education, GJU offers BA and BA Mass Communication for a duration of three years. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate can apply for BA course in distance education mode.
