Yes, you might get into IIT Bombay with a rank of 500 depending on the course and category. For the General AI category, the highest rank acceptable was 839. While the more sought-after courses, like M.Sc. in Chemistry or Mathematics, Physics, etc., might not be available, other courses might still be up for grabs. To know the same, see below.
