UIET Chandigarh considers GATE scores for admission to M.Tech programme. Selected candidates are called for counselling. Aspirants can get admission in M.Tech without GATE scores provided they meet the selection criteria.

No, students cannot get direct admission in IIT Gandhinagar courses. The admission to IIT Gandhinagar courses is entrance-based. Accepted entrance exams are JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ IIT JAM/ GATE. However, writtern test + interview is also considered, depending on the course.
