Shiv Nadar University BTech curriculum focuses heavily on learning by doing. Students do not just sit in classrooms listening to theories all day. Almost every core engineering paper comes with a compulsory lab component. Students also have to complete independent design projects and industry internships before graduating.

Shiv Nadar University BTech guidelines state that the 65% aggregate score in Class 12 is a strict cutoff. Even if a student gets a top rank in JEE Mains or other tests, failing the school marks baseline will cause disqualification. There are no relaxations on this basic academic requirement for general applicants.
