A:

Q:   Will Bangalore University allow doing a job while studying?

A:
You cannot work if you are pursuing a regular course, such as a B.Sc. Or B.Tech. In regular courses, it is mandatory to have at least 75% attendance to appear in the exam. This applies to postgraduate as well as Diploma courses, which are offered in regular mode. It is challenging to work while studying because you must maintain the necessary attendance. Although there is no strict no-work policy during the study period, course guidelines make it difficult to do both. You can apply for a distance education course instead, like most working people who pursue their studies at IGNOU or other distance colleges.

Q:   How can I apply for Bangalore University?

A:

Aspirants need to visit the university's official website (bangaloreuniversity.ac.in) and download the application form. After the application process, candidates must appear for the course-specific entrance test to be eligible for Bangalore University course admissions. The admission process for postgraduate courses includes submitting the application form, scrutiny process, verification process and counselling. For some of the courses such as BSc or UG Diploma, admission is merit-based. The university releases a merit list or announces results to declare the names of selected candidates.

Review of Bangalore Group of Institutions.
Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 24 lacs per annum, the lowest package offered in our course was 6 lacs per annum and the average package offered in our course was 16 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department was very beautiful and peaceful. The facilities they provided on campus were free college Wi-Fi, labs, a canteen, library and a college playground. The quality of the facilities in our hostel was good and the quality of the food was super.
Faculty: The teaching staff of our department was very friendly and they helped students a lot by clarifying their doubts. They are the most knowledgeable teaching staff I have ever seen. The teaching quality of our teaching staff was excellent and easily understandable to every student.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and the good placements for MBA and M.Sc. Psych.
Placements: The package offer starts at 35,000, and a lot of students have gotten into internships at this college as soon as they get out of it. And the college has a great tie-up with the best colleges, and that helps us grow in those fields. More than 80% of students have been recruited for placement in college.
Infrastructure: This college has a lot of facilities and amenities. Classes, libraries, labs, etc. are provided by the college. Wi-Fi is available all over the college, and we can use it for studying purposes. The college provides three main canteens. All kinds of food are available for the students. Hostels are also there. Medical facilities and sports are also available at the college.
Faculty: Masters are difficult, and we also have to work hard to achieve them. Teachers are highly qualified, as are people who have Ph.D.s too. They help them study very much and help them gain knowledge as well. Semester exams are a bit hectic but still, they actually help us in the future.
Other: In Kerala they don't provide M.Sc. industrial psychology. So I was very fond of this course, which they have provided. A lot of events and programs are given by the colleges like ethnic day, sports day, annual day, etc.

I am not satisfied with infrastructure but teaching quality and placements are good.
Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 38 LPA. Many students got internships in this course. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HP, Axis Bank, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. Our campus has good environment. There is a small playground in this college. Chairs are not comfortable in our classrooms. Canteen is average in this college. Classrooms are well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The best part about teachers is they won't make you feel burdened. They complete the syllabus as per schedule. They also provide proper revision classes. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate.
Other: Our campus is ragging-free.

Explore IIBS firsthand for more exposure.
Placements: IIBS placements are comparatively better than the other institutions. From the PGDM students, almost 95% students got placed in reputed companies like EY, Paytm, etc. The roles offered in the course mainly focus on practicals rather in theoretical like operation research, Quantitative techniques, Statistics Business analytics, data analytics and Agri management. Packages go upto 3 Lacs to 9 Lacs. Talking about the finance students, they are placed for the internships in Tradeshala. For marketing students, they are placed in Internshala.
Infrastructure: Overall, the facilities are good compared to the other colleges and institutions. The college is working on enhancing more placements for the students. For every course, there are different classes allotted to the students. There is a proper library along with computer labs. Wi-Fi access is given to all the students. Talking about the hostel facility, it is good. The students are allotted a room which is like a well furnished 3 BHK flat. The quality of food is good. Canteen is a well extended version of the mess. There is a swimming pool area as well as a gym.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and they are knowledgeable, especially in the finance sector. The course curriculum is relevant along with providing industrial exposure to the students. The exams are taken in a strict manner as the attendance of upto 50% is compulsory for the students to be eligible for the exams. Moreover, the exams are easy and the notes provided by the teachers are sufficient. Passing percentage is upto 49%.
