Some of the needed documents for admission at Symbiosis Medical College for Women are given below:

  1. NEET-UG Admit Card & Scorecard
  2. Demand Draft for the academic & hostel fees (as prescribed by the institute)
  3. Class 10th & 12th Marksheets & passing certificates
  4. Transfer Certificate/ Migration Certificate
  5. Valid ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or PAN)
  6. Passport-size photographs (usually around 8 copies) Caste/ Community Certificate (if applicable)

No, direct admissions are not available for various courses at Symbiosis Medical College for Women. Admissions are entirely based on the entrance test scores and the counselling rounds. All admissions for MBBS programme at SMCW will be done through NEET-UG on merit basis in the form of a rank obtained in NEET by MCC.

The  eligibility criteria for MBBS course at Symbiosis Medical College for Women is given below:

  • All admissions are based on the NEET eligibility & counselling by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS)/ Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). 
  • Admissions for first year MBBS programme must be done as per the eligibility guidelines notified by the MCI/ NMC.
  • The students must qualify the NEET examination & his/ her name must appear in an All India Merit List of the qualified students prepared on the basis of All India Rank at NEET (UG) by NTA. The students will be admitted to MBBS programme from the said list only.

Amity University Kolkata has not mentioned an offline mode of admission for BSc courses. Thus, candidates should ask admission desk this question to get confirmation.

Generally, registration on admission microsite is a mandatory requirement for Amity University Kolkata admission. This registration can only be done online.

Symbiosis Medical College for Women has been rated 4.5/5 as per the Shiksha verified review. Talking about the ROI, the college has been rated 4.2/5 for value for money. Hence, the ROI is decent. The college provides Anandi Gopal Scholarship for top 5 NEET Merit students. In this way, top 5 female students can get almost free education from this college. SMCW is known as one of the first fully residential Medical College exclusively for women in India with an annual Intake of 150 girl students.

The MBBS total tuition course fee at Symbiosis Medical College for Women is INR 54 lakh. For the MD course, it is INR 3 Lacs - INR 64.2 lakh. Students must pay a deposit at the time of admission to confirm their seat. For MBBS admissions, students must pay additional fee like hostel fee of INR 11,78,750 & a one-time fee of INR 50,000 at the time of admission.

Yes, with 75% in Class 12, a student may get admission in FLAME University UG courses. But clearing the selection rounds is mandatory. This includes appearing for the FEAT, Essay submission, PI, and SOP. While 75% is enough to fulfil the basic eligibility, admissions are subject to clearing the selection process.
