Hi Visesh,
Most of the entrance exams are already conducted. Please look for colleges which takes students without any entrance exam, because you're too late now.
All the best.

The major problem with CS/IT in NIT Srinagar is the abundance of unreliable, under qualified faculty members, most of whom have graduated and/or postgraduate from substandard colleges. So join ONLY if you are willing to submit to 4 years of self study because no matter how poor the quality of the classes is, the question papers are always of a high standard. Coming to infra, all you need for these branches is a well-equipped desktop and yes, NIT Srinagar has a lot of those but like I said, it all burns down to self study and you cannot rely on the teachers, not even in case of labs (especially not in case of labs). It depends on your score, if you get above 100 score in JEE Mains and percentile below 75, you will get admission in NITs, but you can't attend JEE advance, because it needs above 75% in class 12th. Or your category basis.

If you are interested in pursuing CSE/IT from NIT Srinagar, keep following things in mind:
1. No shortage in attendance as such. CSE/Students are never harassed for the shortage. On the other hand, ECE guys have to put in classes.
2. CSE/IT has good placement in terms of students meeting eligibility criteria of various companies that visit here. ECE placement is average for 2013-2014 batch.
3. Permanent faculty is good in CSE/IT but not a very big number. Don't expect them to spoon feed you. ECE has a larger pool of faculty and they are good.
4. Awesome and beautiful place if you are a nature lover. Life is slower here, not a metropolis
