Kaziranga University - KU accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to various courses:

For B.Tech, the candidates must have qualified in JEE Main or any state entrance exam such as Assam CEE or KUEST

For MBA, the candidates must have a valid score in CAT2, MAT3, CMAT3, XAT3, or KUEST

For other courses, the admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam or KUEST which is the Kaziranga University Entrance and Scholarship Test . you can get into KU with 70% in class 12th, depending on the course you want to pursue. For example, if you want to apply for B.Tech, you need to have at least 45% marks in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and also qualify in JEE Main or Assam CEE or KUEST. If you want to apply for BBA, you need to have at least 50% marks in 10+2 in any stream. If you want to apply for B.Pharm or D.Pharm, you need to have at least 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects. It is hard to say which college offers better placements than the other, as it may depend on various factors such as the course, the batch, the industry, the location, the skills, etc.  The highest package offered at Kaziranga University - KU for MBA students was 12 LPA in 2019, while the highest package offered at Jorhat Engineering College for CSE students was 14 LPA in 2018.
