The application process for Kumaun University is conducted in online mode. Candidates who wish to apply for the Undergraduate or Postgraduate programmes at KU Nainital must visit the official website of KU and follow the step-by-step process given below:
 
Step 1: Visit the official website of Kumaun University (kuntl.net)
 
Step 2: Click on the ‘Online Admission Form’ tab and select either ‘Undergraduate Course’ or ‘Postgraduate Course’
 
Step 3: Click on 'Apply Online' and pay the application fee by clicking on the ‘Pay Fee’ tab
 
Step 4: You will be redirected to a new web page where you can either make an online payment or generate a challan
 
Step 5: Enter the details asked by the bank during the payment process. The details will be transferred to the university's record in the next 7 working days. You will receive a 10-digit transaction number from the bank
 
Step 6: Fill in the application form carefully and upload a scanned photograph as well as signature in JPEG format
 
Step 7: Once you have completed the application form, the system will generate a registration number and password which will be sent to your email and mobile number through SMS.
