Entrance exam scores are to set up eligibilty. They dont have much weightage as compared to GD-PI rounds, when it comes to selection. Also your acads and extra curriculars will matter. Also if you have work ex than it will matter too.
As for placements, college does handle the charges, but in some cases you might have to take care of charges yourself.

Very high entrance scores will always attract eyes, but it isnt always the case. The brighest student might not get high marks in exams. The entrance exam scores only are for establishing the eligibility criteria. The final selection will be based on GD-PI and the past acads record. As for the second part of the question, it might be true but again i have no much idea about it. CAT is considered the tougher exam among the 2, but each exam has its own way of evaluation. You have cleared the cutoff required for admissions. So you are eligible. But the final admission will be based on your acads and your performance in GD-PI. Work ex and extra curriculars matter too. So all these factors will determine the final outcome.

Many students prefer XIME bangalore as its the older one between the 2 and established. But XIME kochi being the newer one has better facilities. XIME bangalore does get more weightage in decisions and placements. Kochi isnt too bad but try for bangalore.

Hi !As you ask. The Department of Electronic and Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) is an autonomous scientific society under the Indian Ministry of communications and Information Technology.
It is providing many job oriented courses, and is approved by the ministry of communication by the governmet.
DOEACC offer five courses.
1- CCC
2- O level equivalent to foundation level course.
3- A level equivalent to advanced diploma in computer applications.
4- B level qualified students are eligible to apply where MCA is desirable qualification. its equivalent to MCA.
5- C level M.Tech level course.
and you done diploma in Information Technolo

For eligiblity you need 70%tile in CAT,MAT,XAT,CMAT. 50% in grad. So based on the info provided i guess you are eligible. And yes, XIME is a very good college faring just behind IIM-B

Except HR all branches have done well. all ops students have got placed with few from marketing and finance left. AVg was around 7.5

XIME. I dont know much about the other colleges but XIME will be worth it compared to the other. XIME has international linkages through which foreign interships are held. Also its been rated higher than other colleges as well.
