No, Farook Institute of Management Studies does not offer direct admission. Candidates are first required to apply for admission with a valid score in CAT, CMAT or KMAT. Aspirants who pass the first round of selection are further called for a group discussion and personal interview round. The final selection is done based on entrance exam scores, GDPI and academic performance of the aspirants.

The tests evaluates the quantitative, verbal, and logical reasoning abilities of the candidates. A valid score in either of these exams is a prerequisite for admission.
