Sha-Shib Aviation Academy, managed by the Sha-Shib Group of Institutions, is considered one of the top aircraft maintenance engineering colleges in India. It was established in 2007 and is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation (Government of India). 

According to Shiksha, about 80% of students at the academy get placed in their course. The top recruiting companies are GMR, Indigo, and Saudi Airlines. 

The Sha-Shib Group has practical tie-ups with India's leading airlines and MROs, such as Air India, Go Air, Air Works, TAAL, and ARDCO. The Sha-Shib Group MROs presence at 6 airports/airstrips gives learners a unique exposure of actual operational environments. 

Although both the colleges are primarily engineering based, they provide an extensive and vast MBA course. Various factors are influential in deciding to choose the college one wishes to pursue their education from. Mepco Schlenk, located in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, has an extensive infrastructure in comparison to PSNA College of Engineering and Technology. PSNA College, located in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, has an academic margin over Mepco Schlenk. Academic excellence and research is the forte for PSNACET while state-of-the-art infrastructure and research facilities are the primary attraction at MSCE. Placements are invariably provided by both colleges. The decision between the two would ultimately come down to personal preferences, professional objectives, and particular program options.
