USTM offers BSc in seven specialisation Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Food Science & Technology, Botany and Zoology. As per the University admission procedure admission to all the UG and PG courses are Merit basis. Candidates seeking to get admisison in BSc don't have to write an entrance exam butr they are required to fulfill the eligibilty criteria i.e. class 12 with minimum 45%.

The admission procedure of UG and PG courses in USTM starts with passing the eligible criteria laid out by the University. The candidates have to fill the online application form either online or offline. After filling the application form candidates have to be submit it along with the required documents and the application fee. Later Merit list is released by the University which will further confirm the admission.

The University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) is the first state private University in the field of Science and Technology in entire north-east India. It was established in 2008 and is sponsored by the Education Research and Development Foundation (ERDF), Guwahati. The University is approved by UGC and AICTE. Yes, The Union Ministry of Education has permitted certain universities to offer admission without CUET scores as the institutions have reported that they lack resources to admit students with CUET scores. IIM Shillong Admission 2024 to PGP course is based on CAT 2024 scores. IIM Shillong admission process is conducted in two phases. In the Phase 1, candidates are shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). In Phase 2, based on the Past Academic Performance, Performance in GD and PI, Performance in CAT, total work experience, and gender, the final merit list is prepared for offer of admission to the PGP 2023-25 batch. It is the phase 2 which is the deciding factor for any candidate's admission to IIM Shillong.

IIM Shillong admission 2023 to MBA course is offered through CAT 2023 scores followed by Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI). For admission to IIM Shillong for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Shillong admission.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Shillong, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Shillong are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:
Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

Yes, CAT 2023 dates for admission to IIM Shillong are out. To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The 2023 CAT form have to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. For 2023 CAT exam, CAT registration will go on between Aug 2 and Sep 20. The exam will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Students are required to appear for the CAT 2023 exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres.
