Dear Ayushman, I have no idea about the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal but being alumni of LPU I can assure you that both CSE and ECE programme at LPU is good in terms of placements and quality education. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE/ECE is good at LPU. Great Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE /ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 LPA and 31 LPA for ECE. PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Industry Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Specializations Offered: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Specialisation Offered in EEE/ECE: Power Electronics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, DSP, Robotics And Automation, VLSI, and many more which helps to do more research in their field. Research: All the faculty members are really helpful for all aspects whether it is academics or any other. Many students have published research papers and patents in International Journal and Conferences. LPU also offers B.Tech (Hons. ). In the CSE programme.
