Both NIT-Trichy and NIT-Warangal are among the top three NITs are among the best institutes in India. But NIT Trichy has been consistently ranking better than NIT Warangal for some years now. According to the MHRD rankings of engineering colleges, NIT-Trichy stands at 11th position while NIT-Warangal stands much below at 34th rank. Among the NITs NIT Trichy stands first. For joining any NIT, you have to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains after your class 12th. Admissions are given solely on the basis of your rank in JEE Mains.

I think you mean IIM Trichy. The answer is no. The cut-off for being shorlisted for call is 96.7 percentile for general category

If you are from general category then it will be around 85-90%. It changes year by year.

I think you should go for NIT, Trichy's CSE as NIT Trichy comes under top 3 rank list of NITs. Also, NIT Trichy CSE is more famous. If you can't afford the high amount of fee in DTU, then go for NIT, Trichy.
