The NIT Trichy CSE average package is not available as of now. However, the institute has disclosed the overall median package for BTech and M.Tech courses. From 2020 to 2022, the median package for BTech has improved year-on-year. On the other hand, a fluctuating trend was recorded in the M.Tech median package. A total of 6 BTech branches recorded more than 90% of placements in 2022. The placement rate recorded during NIT Trichy BTech CSE, ICE, EEE and Chemical Engineering placements 2022 was 98%, 96.60%, 93.70% and 91.10%, respectively. The other two BTech branches that recorded more than 90% placements were Production Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Alongside this, the placement rate recorded during NIT Trichy MBA and MCA placements 2022 was 96.80% and 96.30%, respectively.

 NIT Trichy offers various colleges and different exams are given by the candidates to get admission in a particular course. For, taking admission in the college the candidates need to give the national level entrance exam such as JEE, GATE, IIT JAM, CAT, and CCMT. Then, after clearing the exams candidates can check the merit list at the official website of the college after checking the merit list candidates can click on the admission tab and apply for counseling such as JOSSA, CCMT, and NIMCET and after that candidates can fill out the admission form and can pay the fees for securing their seat a the college. 

Candidates with their names in the seat allotment list are provisionally admitted to the respective courses. The shortlisted candidates need to report to the Bharathidasan University within the due date against each counselling round and submit the fees. After fee submission, candidates are required to verify the required documents to confirm their seats for final admission at Bharathidasan University. If the confirmation of admission is not done before the final date, then the allotment will be cancelled.

Aspirants can join BTech and BArch courses at NIT Trichy after passing Class 12. However, only Class 12 marks are not enought for admission. Candidates must also have studied relevant subjects and have JEE Main rank for admission in BTech and BArch course.

After the conclusion of the selection rounds, BIM Trichy allot seats to the selected candidates.
