Internships were hard to get, and most of us will have to apply for research interns or to get a company intern through contacts.

M.Tech. in Material Science and Engineering - Batch of 2019

Education is good. Professors are highly qualified.
Placements: Last semester, students were eligible for college placements at different companies, but it's up to the individual's ability to secure jobs in the best companies. The highest package for a B.Tech in Computer Engineering is between 34 Lakhs and 12 Lakhs per annum. Almost all students are placed in this college, but in recent years, the placement ratio has been low due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Infrastructure: Generally, the rooms are 25 x 25 feet square, with 3-sharing accommodations for first-year students. After the first year, students may move to another hostel with 2 or 3-sharing, depending on room size. There are 22 boys' hostels and 6 girls' hostels. The hostel facilities include a wardrobe, one bed per resident, 2 fans, and 2 tube lights per room. Washing machines, restrooms per floor, and drinking water facilities are also available. The meal quality in the first-year mess is not very good, but it improves in the second year. The registration process for the hostel is done on the college MS portal. (For more information, one can visit their website).
Faculty: I chose this course because I was interested in computer language during school, which led me to choose this course. The student-to-faculty ratio is low, and the faculty members are well-educated. All professors have qualified for all government qualification exams. The time duration of the exam is 3 hours per subject.

The placements of this college in the previous year were very good.
Placements: The placement is pretty good for the department and it keeps on getting better each year. The college also provides more than enough opportunities for internships. Some of the companies who come for internships also provide stipend and pre-placement offers. I have also secured an internship in the 'future group' from the college. There are companies for placements such as Deloitte, Royal Enfield, Oppo, Standard Chartered, South Indian Bank, HDFC bank, Federal Bank, Wipro, Infosys, TCS to name a few. There are ample opportunities for every domain and the profiles these companies offer are also decent. The recruitment drive process depends upon the concerned company but the most common method is an aptitude test followed by a GD and finally, the Personal Interview . Almost 95% of students are placed every year. Most of the students who are not placed are those who are not registered for placements or those who opt for higher studies. The college also takes step to groom students for placements with the help of drives like CPC (campus placement coaching).
Infrastructure: For girls, there are 6 hostels. For first year, they give 3 seater room and for second year they give 2 seater rooms. Hostels are not well-equipped, we face a lot of difficult to adjust. We are provided with open Wi-Fi. Girls have two options for Mess which are North mess and South mess. Sometimes the quality of food is not good and the taste is not good.
Faculty: The course structure is good but is quite old and should be revised. Few courses like computer network are good and research-focused. Sometimes there are extra subjects in each semester and a lot to study and understand. There are two cycle tests and one-semester exam each semester. Semester exams are quite hectic. Apart from that cycle tests contribute 40% and assignments contribute 10% in total marks, the rest all is Sen exams (50%).

B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2017
2.6

It's a good college with minimum requirements.
Placements: The placements in the college are very good; there are jobs for core and non-core at the same time. Many different companies, like Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, and Microsoft, come to our campus and the placement cell makes sure of having good placements every year. Nearly 95% of placements happen every year and the highest package of our time was nearly INR 50 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostels are not that good and it's just average to stay but cheaper than other hostels outside to live in. The food was okay, but we needed to adjust as it was a hostel mess and all our sports games were good and the ground was neat. Medical treatment and a hospital are also nearby.
Faculty: The faculty are okay and need to do more self-learning as there is no spoon-feeding here. Seniors and all other students should be in touch so they can help you and teach and share knowledge.

A college in which all events are student oriented and really good technical support .
Placements: In our college, about 95 percent of students are placed in both the software and hardware industries. The highest package was 45 LPA, the lowest was 8 LPA, and the average was 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Qualcomm and Texas Instruments. About 50 percent of students got internships, and the top roles are chip designers.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi was very good in our hostel but was not available in our college. The lab facilities are awesome, and the classrooms are equipped with digital projectors, which help us learn easily. The library is very large and contains all course reference books. The food was excellent, and there is also a hospital and a sports center available.
Faculty: The teachers are really very helpful, as they are highly qualified and help to enrich our knowledge. The teaching quality is good, and we can interact with them. The curriculum also exposes students to the social environment through various clubs. Semester exams are easy if we study with a proper plan and guidance, and 95 percent of students will pass.
Other: I chose this course as it allows me to pursue both software and hardware in my future. We can learn about communication systems and chip designing in this course. We also have many events, like Nittfest, Pragyan, and Festember, in our college, where we can enjoy a lot. Additionally, we can also get scholarships.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2027

Friendly faculty, amazing campus with great placement.
Placements: 97% of the students get placed after their course. Top companies like Amadasoft also offer placements to their graduates. There is a minimum of 20 LPA, which can go up to 45 LPA. Jobs are offered both in the design sector and in the software sector. Internships are also offered.
Infrastructure: From the second year on, the students get a double-bed room with no attached bathroom and the mess facility is also included. Great lab for assignments and library for studying. Proper Indian food is provided at the canteen. Basketball and badminton courts are also available for students's physiques.
Faculty: Top-notch faculty with great experience. We get to have one-on-one conversations with faculty members whose mentorship gives us a lot of experience. Semester exams are mostly easy and most of the grades are marked based on assignments and projects. We get to have enough site visits, which makes us ready for real-life experiences.
Other: I love the power to create something and the profession of architecture.
