Decision between St. Petersburg College (USA) and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT, India) for B.Tech is based on your preference. VIT is a highly rated private college in India, offering high-quality education, great infrastructure, and very good placement figures with firms like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. It provides more options in specialised B.Tech courses. In contrast, St. Petersburg College is a smaller school with a lower cost of living but whose B.Tech courses might not give the same level of exposure and placement prospects as VIT. For improved career opportunities, VIT is overall a better choice.

Yes, St. Petersburg College (SPC) is actually cheaper than Arizona State University (ASU). For the 2023–2024 academic year, out-of-state students at SPC pay around $9,358 per year in tuition and fees.
By contrast, tuition and fees of ASU's out-of-state undergraduate students approximate $34,014 annually.
Thus, SPC's cost is much lower than that of ASU and is a better value for further education.
