Yes, you can apply to the BCA program at VIT Vellore with your 12th qualification from BSEB and 65% marks. The selection criteria demand that the candidates should have passed 10+2 from a known board with an aggregate minimum of 60% (50% for reserved category) and Mathematics or Business Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Admission is merit-based, with marks in 12th class considered, and no entrance examination. Ensure that you fulfill the subject requirements prior to applying. With a 2588 rank in the integrated M.Tech exam and 968 marks in your intermediate exam, you have good chances of getting admission at VIT Vellore. However, the final admission depends on the specific branch you choose and the cut-off ranks for that branch in the current year; it's advisable to check the official VIT website for the latest admission details and cut-off ranks, and as per the previous year ranks, it can be predicted that you'll easily get admission. You have a strong score in your intermediate, which will help you to get admission without any problem.

As you have a good rank in the VIT integrated course and 98% in PCM, you should prioritize VIT campuses in the following order:

  1. VIT Vellore (Category 1)

  2. VIT Chennai (Category 1)

  3. Other VIT campuses (depending on availability and preferred branch)

While prioritizing campuses, also consider the specific branches you are interested in and choose the campus where you have a higher chance of getting your desired branch based on the available seats. VIT Vellore is the top campus of VIT, and that should be prioritized first.

Students might face challenging admission prospects for high-demand specializations because VIT Vellore ranks at position 11,098. Your opportunities for admission improve across the VIT system when applying to VIT Chennai, VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal, or searching for less popular programs. Check the official VIT site for information about cutoff scores.

The current cutoff details for the Integrated M.Tech. in Software Engineering at VIT Vellore are determined by the VITEEE entrance exam scores. For 2025, the particular cutoff scores have not been made public yet, but they are likely to change every year. In general, students with a score of more than 60% in their 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are qualified to apply. It is recommended that one monitor the official VIT website for information on cutoff marks and admission details as the date of the exam nears.

The annual tuition costs for VIT's B.Tech programs differ according to the branch's group classification:

Yearly INR 1,73,000 for Group A
