Candidates can visit the official website at ctet.nic.in for the syllabus of the CTET. The entire syllabus is provided and candidates can download it for every topic together. The syllabus PDF is also provided on our Shiksha page.

Candidates need to visit the official website to download the PDF of the CTET Syllabus at ctet.nic.in and check the information bulletin. The CTET syllabus is available in English as well as Hindi medium that covers both Paper 1 and 2 topics in detail. The CTET syllabus PDF is also available on our Shiksha page: https://www.shiksha.com/exams/ctet-exam-syllabus

The CTET syllabus consists of the detailed topics that needs to be covered in both Papers namely Paper 1 and 2. The Central Eligibility Test is conducted twice every year. The exam is divided into 2 papers. Paper 1 is for the candidates who are aiming to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8.

The duration of Central Teacher Eligibility Test ( CTET) 2024 is two hours and 30 minutes. The examination is a multiple choice question (MCQ) type. With - 

+1 marks for each correction answers. 

0 marks for each wrong answer. 

0 marks for each unattempted question. 

The total number of questions are 150 each ( Paper 1 and Paper 2). With 150 being the maximum marks.

The examination is scheduled on 21 January 2024.

While the entire Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)examination focuses equally on all five subjects. The most scoring Subject on the basis of ease in learning is Child Development and Pedagogy. 

The subject has easy to moderate level of questions and is easy to tackle once the basics are well learned .
