English is treated as a domain subject under CUET.

English has been recognised as one among the several domains in the newly formed Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

The CUET exam structure has multiple sections among which Section I has been earmarked for language tests. The candidates are provided the choice of selecting any one from the 13 languages available including English. Hence, students shall be allowed to prove their capability and competence in the language as part of the eligibility requirements for admission into the undergraduate programs of participating universities.

Ever since you didn't attend Geography in twelfth, it is usually good to have Geography as a domain subject in CUET, as the examination checks knowledge and aptitude with respect to every subject.

It is a well-known fact that a lot of universities allow students to take domain subjects as per their preferences and not necessarily according to courses done before by the students.

However, you should always verify the eligibility criteria for individual universities you are applying into; some may have specific eligibility criteria attached to prior study of particular subjects.

With a CUET score of 458 out of 800, it may be challenging to secure admission to a highly ranked college at Delhi University (DU), as the typical cutoff for well-ranked programs is around 480 out of 800. However, some programs may have slightly lower cutoff requirements, especially for reserved categories or less competitive courses. I recommend checking the specific course and college cutoff for detailed information, as they can vary. Also, your New Delhi domicile could potentially improve your chances for certain categories.

GNIT, in general, relies on CUET scores for admitting students in various programmes including BBA. CUET score ranges for the desired admission for BBA programmes can be different for each year since it largely depends upon the number of applicants and availability of seats.

B.Ott (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy) programs are offered in several universities across India through CUET. These universities include the University of Delhi (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), and Lucknow University. Generally, students are admitted into the B.Ott programme through counseling or additional rounds after they have secured adequate scores in the CUET. Verifications need to be made directly on the official website about eligibility criteria and all about applying through CUET by each university.

First, understand the syllabus and exam pattern for CUET. Stick to domain-specific subjects, according to your course of study, and the General Test section. Create a study plan, allocate time to each subject, and practice regularly.

Pay a focus on logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude, and general knowledge and English, for the General Test, and practice topics like puzzles, data interpretation, grammar, and current affairs through NCERT books, sample papers, and mock tests to improve speed and accuracy. Analyze your performance to identify weak areas in order to be consistent for the CUET.
