• Focus: Bridges the gap between pure economic theory and the practical world of business and finance.
• Career paths: Business analyst, market researcher, financial analyst, or consultant. 

• Best for: Students with a strong aptitude for mathematics and an interest in economic research, public policy, or academia.
• Curriculum: A rigorous program covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, mathematical methods for economics, and advanced economic theory.
• Focus: Research-oriented and theoretical, often serving as a strong foundation for a master's in economics or other advanced degrees.
• Career paths: Economist, policy analyst, research associate, civil services (such as Indian Economic Services), or a career in banking and finance. 

• Are you good at mathematics? Economics (Hons.) is a highly mathematical course. If you prefer less math, BBE or BBA may be a better fit.
• Are you more interested in business or research? If you are more interested in the corporate world, BBA or BBE is suitable. If you have an academic interest in how economies work, B.A. (Hons.) in Economics is the better option.
• What are your postgraduate plans? If you want to pursue an MBA, any of these degrees can be a good stepping stone. If you want to pursue an M.A. in Economics, a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics provides the strongest foundation.

1. Appear for CUET UG:
   • Candidates must register for the CUET UG exam on the official website: cuet.samarth.ac.in.
   • While filling the CUET application, you must select Delhi University and choose the required subjects for B.A. (Hons) Psychology.
   • The required subject combination for B.A. (Hons) Psychology generally is: Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2. You can also choose Psychology as one of your domain subjects in CUET.
   • Appear for the CUET exam and achieve a high score, as the cutoffs for LSR are very competitive (often above 750 out of 800).
2. Register on the DU CSAS Portal:
   • After the CUET results are declared, you must register on the University of Delhi's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal: ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
   • This portal is where you will provide your personal details, academic scores (Class 12 marks are for tie-breaking only), and upload the necessary documents.
   • You will also list your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority (e.g., LSR, B.A. (Hons) Psychology as your first preference).
3. Seat Allocation and Admission Confirmation:
   • Delhi University will release several rounds of seat allocation lists based on the CUET scores and your preferences.
   • If a seat is allocated to you at LSR, you must "Accept" the seat on the CSAS portal within the stipulated time frame.
   • The college will then verify your eligibility and uploaded documents online.
   • Upon approval from the college, you must pay the admission fee online to confirm your seat. 

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate of 45-60% marks from a recognized board (specific percentage can vary).
• Entrance Exam: A valid and high score in the CUET (UG) is mandatory.
• Gender: LSR is a women's college, so only female candidates are eligible to apply.
