Admissions to certificate courses in CAI is done based on Class 12th. You should have a minimum of 50% in Class 12th.
Admission to Bachelor’s Degree and PG Diploma courses is given through the All India Entrance Examination held in Hyderabad including the candidate’s performance in GD and PI. Selection of the candidate for admission to the certificate course is done based on his/ her marks obtained in the written test, GD, and PI conducted by the college.

According to some reviews, the college provides placements in good brands and hotels with good salary packages. From the first semester itself, the students become eligible for placements in ITC, Taj, GRT, The Park, Lemon Tree Hotels, Club Mahindra, and P&O Cruises (United Kingdom and Australia. 100% guaranteed placements are offered and Kitchen management trainee is the highest profile offered.

Yes, the Culinary Academy of India provides very good placements. Around 90% of students got placed on campus in 2023. All the top 5-star hotels like the Taj Hotel, The Leela, etc. participated in the placement drives. The minimum salary offered was around 30-40 thousand per month.

The best course offered by CAI is BCT&CA (Bachelor of Catering Technology and Culinary Arts).
According to a review by a BCT&CA student, many students got placements on cruise ships and in some of the excellent hotels. Even top hotels like Taj and Marriott visited the college to hire students. The course curriculum makes the students ready as they are taught not only about Indian cuisine but also continental as well.
