NDRI's eligibility criteria for Masters in Dairying is a Bachelor's degree from any university recognised by the Institute, in the relevant subject. So graduates of Mechanical Engineering are not eligible for this course. However the Diploma in Dairy Technology (DDT) can be done from the IGNOU. The eligibility criteria of Diploma course is 10+2. The duration of this course is of 2 years for graduates with at least four years professional degree. Those with 3 years Bachelor's degree will undergo pre-requisite courses as decided by the Board of Studies and the duration will be 3 years. For distance education, the duration of the course is 2 years. However, the duration may vary according to college requirements. The admission is carried out using entrance exam as a medium in most of the cases.
