Candidates who wish to opt for the various Dairy Technology and Management courses should have passed 10+2 with Science with a minimum required percent of aggregate marks. The selection for such courses is done on the basis of an entrance examination conducted at the National or state level.

Dairy technology is that branch of engineering which deals with necessary training and guidance for the processing, packaging, transportation, storage and distribution of the products related to dairy.
The scope and job opportunity is good in India and also in foreign countries such as Australia, Denmark and Switzerland. The aspirants can work as food analyst / lab technician / assistant food chemist / supervisor / food inspector / quality controller / product development head / marketing head / food technologist in numerous diary firms.
