Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, sees an average package for the B.A. students stand at approximately 5.4 Lacs per annum, as of 2024. In the recently conducted recruitment season, around 200 students have been placed through the placement cell that collaborated with many employers. Prominent among them were Deloitte and KPMG, and this made graduates' chances of jobs increase multifold. While the mean package reflects a decent result, it is highly differentiated by individual performance and specialisation within the arts stream, suggesting that B.A. graduates have a competitive job market.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, admits students strictly based on scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). For undergraduate courses, the student should have at least 40% marks in their 10+2 examinations. According to the expected cutoff for different courses in 2024, they expect a range between 705 and 770 marks in the CUET. Some programs may be more demanding; for example, B.Com (Hons.) usually requires better scores because it is very popular and highly competitive. Merit lists are prepared based on the CUET scores that determine the admission of successful candidates.
