Manipal College of Dental Sciences under the MAHE Manipal offers courses at UG, PG and certificate levels in the Dental field. The college offers BDS at UG and MDS at PG levels. Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital accepts NEET-UG score for admission to BDS programme. NEET is an offline exam conducted once a year  for three hours and 20 minutes or 200 minutes. As far as the NEET exam pattern is concerned, there are 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, out of which 180 questions need to be attempted. Aspirants with rank equal or above the NEET cutoff are offered seat in the BDS programme.

There are a total of 100 seats in BDS programme of Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital. Candidates are offered seat in BDS based on NEET-UG score. Once the candidates are offered seat, they need to report with the specified documents for verification. Shortlisted candidates need to further pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the college.

Students wishing to get the scholarship should be an under graduate student of BDS and, more importantly, an IDA Member. Aspirants need to pass BDS from a recognised Indian university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Council of India to apply for Bapuji Dental College MDS programme. Students studied other than Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka need to produce eligibility certificate issued by RGUHS Karnataka at the time of MDS admission
