Your score of 342 marks in NEET UG 2024 under the SC category gives you good opportunities for AYUSH government college enrollment. The admission criteria for AYUSH courses among candidates from the SC group falls within the 163-129 mark interval. Students who apply for BDS can achieve admission at some government colleges although the official cutoff values tend to be higher. Your marks of 342 in the SC category for NEET UG 2024 qualify you as a competitive applicant for BDS programs in various states where the cutoff stands at 320-350.

Over the past three years, the cut-off ranks required for IMS BHU BDS admission have shown a declining trend. In 2024, the closing rank for the last round of BDS admission was 28,901 for the General AI category candidates. The same was 25,669 in 2023 and 23,284 in 2022. The IMS BHU BDS cut-off varies yearly. It further varies depending on the reservation category and admission quota (All-India/Home State) of the applicants. In 2024, the closing NEET UG rank at which BDS admisson concluded for the General AI category candidates was 28,901. For OBC category candidates, the NEET UG last round cutoff ranks was 31,523, within the All India quota. Your NEET score of 457 in NEET 2024 restricts the possibilities of admission to MBBS colleges. A number of private medical institutions accept scores for admission beyond the NEET cutoff. KIMS in Bhubaneshwar and Gitam Institute of Medical Science and Research stand among the best private medical colleges that admit students to their MBBS programs through marks spanning from 500 to 600. The competition could be intense at medical colleges that accept test scores between 200-400 even though deemed medical colleges fall under this range of marks.

Given your 536 marks from NEET under the general category in Uttar Pradesh you hold reasonable opportunities to secure a spot in a government BDS college. The cutoff for BDS admission in government colleges across UP during the 2022 NEET counseling period reached between 520-550 marks among general category students. The entrance score requirement to study BDS at King George's Medical University, Lucknow reached 543 marks but Saraswati Dental College, Lucknow accepted applicants with 529 marks. Your score places you at a strong position to obtain admission to a BDS programme in any government institution.
