There are about 7 top Dental colleges in Karnataka accepting NEET scores. Of these,  6 colleges are privately owned. NEET is one of the most accepting entrance exam in top Dental colleges in Karnataka. Some of the popular colleges include Manipal College of Dental Sciences Manipal, A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS), SDM College of Dental Sciences,  and many others.

Through NEET, you can get into many top medical colleges including government colleges, top private colleges in India.  However admission to these colleges are highly competitive but can get colleges out of your state, anywhere in India.

No, 428 marks in NEET 2024 is unlikely to be enough to get admission to a government medical college in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana for a BDS course. The NEET cut-off for government colleges in these states is higher than 428.

Whether to choose a BSc in Nursing or a BDS depends on your personal interests and career goals, however, BSc Nursing is a better choice if you want to explore a wider range of career options, global opportunities, and a focus on holistic patient care. BDS, on the other hand, would be better if you want to specialize in dentistry or eventually open your own practice.

With a NEET score of 272 you might find opportunities for BAMS or BDS in Telangana in private colleges with fees structure of Rs 2 Lacs per annum but securing a government college would be challenging for you. You can search for private institutes offering the same courses. There can be several colleges you might find suitable.
