The BDS curriculum primarily focuses on oral and dental sciences, covering subjects like oral pathology, prosthodontics, periodontology, and orthodontics. It emphasizes dental procedures, clinical skills, and patient management related to oral health.
On the other hand, the MBBS syllabus covers a broader range of medical subjects, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and general surgery. It prepares students for overall patient care rather than specializing in a particular organ or system.

Your NEET score at 203 marks out of 720 provides scarce opportunities to win admission to most reputable government and established private medical colleges. The standard cutoff levels for general section candidates to enter government BDS programs typically span from 600 to 650 marks. The management quota cutoff marks in private institutions are generally between 300 and 350 out of 720 but these seats face competition due to their limited availability. The lowest scores to qualify for BDS admission exceed 203 even when reserved category candidates benefit from 50 to 100 marks of relaxation. You should consider other admission pathways

Yes, you can apply for the course because the basic requirements of the college regarding the course are a 50% score in NEET for the general category and 40% for other categories. The proper clear result of 12th and 10th are other criteria with no percentage foundation; the classes should only be cleared with no backlogs.
