SRM Dental College (KTR) has a decent placement record for BDS. However, the placement rate over the past few years has been less than 100%. With an average salary package of around INR 6 LPA, the college has maintained a placement rate of over 70%. According to SRM KTR Dental College reviews on Shiksha.com, the placement rate for BDS over the years ranges between 80% - 95%. Candidates can refer to the following table presenting the number of BDS students placed in 2021, 2022 and 2023 as per the college's NIRF Report 2024:

In order to secure BDS admission at SRM Dental College Kattankulathur, candidates must have a valid NEET UG rank. Those who clear the required NEET UG cut-off are allocated seats through various counselling rounds conducted by the MCC. In 2024, the last NEET UG rank at which BDS admission was provided to General (All India) candidates was 3,38,076. Candidates can refer to the following table for the college's BDS cut-off over the past three years:

The affiliated colleges under BHU accepts NEET MDS score. Taking into consideration, the BHU cutoff 2024 for the last-round, 70 rank is a decent rank to get into BHU for variety of courses. However, for MDS in Orthodonitics and Dentofacial Orthopedics course, general AI quota candidates won't be able to get into the institute at 70 rank. This is because, the respective course has the lowest cutoff of 5 for the General category.

Over the past three years, the cut-off rank required for SRM Dental College Kattankulathur BDS admission has shown a declining trend. The closing rank during the last round of counselling was 3,38,076 for the General AI category candidates in 2024. It was 4,40,852 in 2023, and at 9,78,269 in 2022. Yes, you can pursue a Diplomate of National Board after completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), but the options are more limited compared to MBBS graduates.

Diplomate of National Board is primarily designed for medical graduates, and most DNB specialties are not open to BDS holders.

The candidate for admission to the BDS programme must be 10+2 passed on the main subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admission requires taking the NEET (UG) and obtaining qualifying marks. The application to be filled after the results are out will require the submission of a NEET scorecard and academic certificates through the university website. The candidates selected for counseling will be allotted seats based on merit and availability. Once allotted a seat, please do admission formalities like payment of fees and any other activity required to complete the process. Alw

The Kolhan University for MDS (Prosthodontics) has not published on the net for quick reference. Typically, the MDS fees range from Rs 2,00,000 to Rs 20,00,000 depending on whether the university is government or private. Since Kolhan University is a state university, it would be on the cheaper side however, for accurate fee structures, please check with the admission office or their university website, as they will have the right and most precise answers for you regarding tuition fees, additional payments, and installment payments.

Till now ESIC Dental College in Gulbarga, Karnataka, offers a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course with an annual intake of 62 seats. Currently the college does not offer any Master of Dental surgery (MDS) course. There is no public announcement and information regarding introduction of MDS seats in the college. For most accurate information, I will advise to contact the college administration directly or you can visit there if possible.

Yes, the NEET MDS syllabus is similar to the BDS course syllabus. Aspirants planning to appear for the NEET MDS exam must study in lines with the BDS course subjects and topics. Talking about this, NBEMS has stated, "The syllabus for the exam shall be that of BDS standard and shall cover all the subjects/syllabus taught during the BDS course as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time."

For MDS in Oral Surgery at Kolhan University, there might be various scholarship programs available to students. These scholarships could be based on merit, financial need, or specific criteria set by the university or external organizations.

To find out more about scholarship programs specifically for MDS in Oral Surgery at Kolhan University, I recommend checking the university's official website or contacting their scholarship office for detailed information on available scholarships, eligibility requirements, and the application process.
