With an average salary package of around INR 6 LPA, the college has maintained a placement rate of over 70%. The affiliated colleges under BHU accepts NEET MDS score. Taking into consideration, the BHU cutoff 2024 for the last-round, 70 rank is a decent rank to get into BHU for variety of courses. However, for MDS in Orthodonitics and Dentofacial Orthopedics course, general AI quota candidates won't be able to get into the institute at 70 rank. This is because, the respective course has the lowest cutoff of 5 for the General category.

Over the past three years, the cut-off rank required for SRM Dental College Kattankulathur BDS admission has shown a declining trend. The closing rank during the last round of counselling was 3,38,076 for the General AI category candidates in 2024. It was 4,40,852 in 2023, and at 9,78,269 in 2022.
