In 2024, the closing ranks during the last round of counselling ranged between 3,277 and 22,798 for the General AI category candidates seeking admission to various MDS specialisations. Yenepoya Dental College has a total intake of 54* students for its MDS programme. These seats are further distributed among the MDS specialisations offered at the college. The college offers nine specialisations under the MDS programme. There are six to eight seats per specialisation. These seats are filled through the MCC NEET MDS counselling based on the NEET MDS scores of the applicants.
