Hence getting into a dental or veterinary college may be difficult if the NEET 2024 score is 198, as the cutoff marks for veterinary colleges for general category ranges between 720-164, while for SC/ST/OBC categories is between 163-129. Direct admission to the Triveni Institute of Dental Sciences, Hospital and Research Centre is not usually available for the BDS program. Admission is mainly based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). To be eligible, candidates must have completed their higher secondary education, 10+2, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects, with a minimum aggregate score.

For admission to MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Dental College and Hospital, it is mandatory for the candidate to possess a BDS degree. Degree from recognised institute along with permanent registration in State Dental Council is required. Completing a one-year internship and qualifying the NEET MDS exam are also mandatory conditions.
