While the institution is included in various ranking bodies list, it does not feature in the QS Ranking. Newer, third-generation IITs, like IIT Tirupati, are generally not considered by this ranking body.
But, the institution has been ranked by NIRF, IIRF and other similar authorities. See below to know the same.

IIT Tirupati NIRF Ranking 2026 has not been released yet. However, according to the IIT Tirupati NIRF Ranking 2025, the institute ranks at #57 in the BE/BTech category and is included in the 151-200 overall band. The NIRF Ranking body has also recognised the institute as the 2nd best college in Andhra Pradesh.

The lowest package offered was 6.55 LPA for the MSc in Physics and MSc in Chemistry courses. The branch that performed the best in terms of the highest average package was MSc in Maths & Stats, with the IIT Tirupati M.Tech average package 2026 being 7 LPA.

IIT Tirupati Summer Internship 2026 application form is currently closed for the academic year 2026. To be eligible for the internship, students have to be enrolled in the BE/BTech/BSc/MSc/BA/MA or equivalent from any recognised university. The selected candidates are provided with free accommodation, and the top 5 students per department get a monthly stipend of INR 5,000.

Both institutes are considered good choices for pursuing an MBA course, although IIM Kashipur has been ranked #23 under the Management category by NIRF Ranking 2025 and IIM Vishakhapatnam has been ranked #29. Students can check the table below to know different parameters for comparing both IIMS.
