Yes, there are several colleges in and around Vijayawada that offer Hotel Management Diploma courses. However, the one I've most often heard about from friends and relatives is Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management in Vijayawada.
When we were searching for my brother's course, we came across some of the popular Diploma programs offered there — such as Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Science, Diploma in Food Production, and Diploma in Hospitality Management. Amrita School of Business, Amaravati admissions are entrance-based. The school considers national-level entrance exam scores for MBA admission. The entrance exam accepted are CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, etc. Candidates can also appear for ACAT conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Besides, the school also conducts a written test for PhD programme. Selected candidates have to further come for a personal interview round for final selection.

Candidates applying for Management courses at GITAM Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam, should apply online from the verified website of the institute, not a sponsored one. During the process of applying for the course, one should keep a check, they have completed the eligibility requirements. Both physical and skill tests are taken during the Andhra Pradesh PECET Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The candidates who have registered for the exam must participate in the 100 m run, shotput ( 6kgs for men, 4kgs for women), and running (800m for men, 400m for women).
Candidates are given a choice between a long jump and a high jump. The entire physical efficiency test is worth 400 marks. Skill Test Candidates choose one game from a list (e.g., Ball Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Shuttle Badminton, Tennis, Volleyball). The maximum marks in the Skill Test are 100.
