Yes the DOT School of Design is better than Government College of Fine Arts .The infrastructure and faculty is very good with lot of skills and expertise and experience for more than a decade.The college has strong connections with the DQ Labs, Trillo Sport, Infinite Engineers, and the college placements are very good.

The latest cutoff for BFA at DOT School of Design is 50 percentile in DOT-DAT entrance exam. Along with entrance exam students must have passed the 10th examination from any recognized board. 

Students will have to appear for the Design Aptitude Test (Round I and II). Selected students will be called for the Personal Interview & Portfolio Submission (Round III). Those who qualify for the Personal Interview & Portfolio Submission round will be selected for admission.

DOT-DAT is an exam applicable for students seeking admission to the DOT School of Design. The exam comprises two rounds:

  1. Creative Quotient Test / Technical Test

  2. On Table Test.

On qualifying, candidates enter into Personal Interview and Portfolio Submission.

Yes DOT school of Design is more expensive than Dravadian University.But it provides the better oppurtunities with good infrastructure and a good faculty.It also has scholarship oppurtunities based on the merit scored in the entrance examination DOT-DAT (Design Aptitude Test)

DOT School of Design admissions to all the courses are determined on the basis of candidates performance in DOT-DAT (Design Aptitude Test). It consists of three rounds to assess the student's aptitude and design ability: Creative Quotient (CQ) Test, On Table Test, Personal Interview, and Portfolio Submission.
