According to Shiksha college panel, there is no particular number of seats intake for B.Sc at Madras University Distance Education. However, the candidate should passed class 12 with decent percentile from any recognised board of education to be eligible for taking admission in B.Sc at Madras University Distance Education.

The seat intake for B.Sc at Annamalai University Distance Education is 5900. In that, B.Sc (Nursing) intake is 100 and the eligibility states that Passed Class 12 from a recognised board with English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology as main subjects with a minimum of 45% aggregate together in PCB, B.Sc (Medical Laboratory Technology) seats are 10 and the eligibility is Passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or Physics, Chemistry, Biology or vocational stream with Laboratory Technology as main subjects and a minimum of 35% aggregate in total 40%

Part-time studying means one needs to attend classes as per the schedule either in the evenings or at weekends. However, with distance learning one is not required to classes. The study hours are flexible and one can study from anywhere, anytime.
