Well, there is no specific book for DTU LEET preparation, but there are plenty of books for other Leet exams and the most popular is by author Vaneet & Gurmeet. Yes, DTU provides lateral entry in B.Tech programme for civil engineering.
You need to appear in DTU LEET exam.

Well yes, majoring in B.Tech after Diploma is always a good choice. You will get more knowledge of automobile in B.Tech. Also, you will get depth practical approach in B.Tech including industry exposures. B.Tech has more job opportunities than Diploma.
