Candidates can check below the seat allocation rule followed for admission in M.Tech of DTU for the GATE qualifying students:
The total number of seats (out of 18) should be-
- 60 % (~11) for (aa) i.e B.E/B.Tech. in Engineering
- 40% (~7) for (ab) i.e M.Sc. and (ac) i.e MCA.
- During the spot round, all seats will be merged and offered to Engineering

There isn't one magic book for LEET that guarantees admission to universities like DTU or Thapar. I've seen most students do well by first covering their Diploma basics properly and then practicing previous year papers as much as possible.
For Mathematics, books like R.S. Aggarwal are quite common, and for technical subjects, your Diploma textbooks are usually more important than collecting too many reference books.
The main thing is regular practice and understanding concepts instead of jumping between different books. Previous papers and mock tests probably help more than buying another guide.

DTU and IIT Delhi has made a name for themselves in the industry. DTU has been ranked at the 30th position under the Engineering category. DTU has also been ranked at the 2nd position under the 'Engineering' category by the NIRF Ranking 2025.
DTU the highest international & domestic package offered during DTU placements 2025 was INR 1.8 Crore per Annum and 85 LPA. IIT Delhi BTech median package offered in 2024 was INR 19.08 LPA.
We can't compare the data of 2 different years. Hence, can't say much about the same. In the end, it depends on students what is best for them.&n
