Hello Amrita, The NET exam is conducted for the selection of assistant professor in the university or colleges and to pursue the Ph.D. and JRF fellowship awards. The NTA is going to conduct the UGC NET exam twice a year in online mode only. Candidates, who have completed the post-graduation with 55% marks from recognised university are eligible to apply for UGC NET exam. You can apply for the post-graduation subjects or its related subjects only.
