Depends on your career goals, career aptitude, job profile and industry sector that you wish to work in future. If you want to go with MBA after deep knowledge of economics, can learn management programme much better especially in terms of how external environment impacts the businesses and overall impact of economy on industry sectors etc. MBA in finance management would be better option for economics background student.

Hi Sachin!
The scope is plenty.
1. You can do further study M.Sc. M.Phil. Ph.D. And can opt for both school and college teaching. Please maintain a 55% marks in your M.Sc. As to seat in NET that is the minimum eligibility criteria.

It is also an avenue of venturing into the academics line as a teacher/lecturer. Salary depends on a multiple factors but is never a constraint for the right person with the desired skill set and exposure. So, it's up to you whether you want t

It depends on your interest and hard work. Both the courses are good but I think that finance is better in comparison to economics.

Economics is in much higher demand than finance. Finally, with an econ degree, you can do anything a finance major can, but the reverse is not at all true. Most jobs an econ major can do you would not be prepared for with a finance degree.
