Applicants fulfil the AJEE eligibility requirements for engineering Diploma programmes if they have passed their 10th standard (SSC) with a minimum of 35% marks. Prospective candidates should be aware that even if they are taking their qualifying examination in the same year as they plan to appear for the AISECT University Entrance Exam, they still satisfy the eligibility criteria for AJEE.

Yes, the two marksheets of CBSE and NIOS are valid to take admissions in any Engineering college. NIOS result is equivalent to CBSE and NIOS is authorized by the HRD (Human Reseources Department ) of Government of India. But the most important mistake that is made by most of the NIOS apperaring students is if you want to join good college but marks in any of your subjects ( for example., Maths) is very less or result is not declared, you should appear all the exams ( Physics, Maths, Chemistry, English ) not only in the particular subject which you have scored less. So that you can be eligible for the admissions in most of the colleges.

The eligibility criteria for engineering colleges can vary, and some private engineering colleges in the National Capital Region (NCR) of India might consider candidates who have scored 50 percent or more in their 10+2 examinations. Please note that admission criteria can change over time, so I recommend checking the official websites or contacting the admission departments of specific engineering colleges in NCR to verify their current eligibility requirements.

To get you started, here are a few private engineering colleges in NCR that might have eligibility criteria of 50 percent in 10+2:

1. Amity University, Noida
