The placement record of electrical engineering and mechanical has been always good. There is always demand for electrical engineer in private sector. There are always openings in government sector for electrical engineering. its not that tough.its basically +2 level maths in the first year.practice will make u perfect :)

I heard a lot about Parul university in Vadora. Which stream are you looking at?

Scope of mechanical is good but in terms of placement in JSS Noida its not that good, only fraction of class students get placed through campus this time few that visited for mechies are Honda , Anglo-Eastern ,some designing related(Auto CAD, Solidworks)etc. And average salary is about Rs.3.6 lakhs p.a and rest crowd go for GATE exam, off campus placement ,other government services. JSS is good college have decent crowd and faculty with good labs.

Since you have already started studying in Swami Vivekanand Institute of Science and Technology, you must ask this question from your seniors. They will be better equipped and informed to answer this question for you.
My suggestion is that rather than worrying about placements, focus on developing your skills. Do new courses and learn about new technologies. When you are well prepared, you will not have to worry about placements from the college. You can get a job off-campus. All the best!
