The Merit based admission of JUIT Solan will start after the declaration of 12th results, While JEE Main based admission will start after the declaration of JEE Main results. So, you have to wait and stay in touch with JUIT.

Yes, definitely you will get your amount refunded after deducting the processing charges, that is, Rs 1500.
If you have already accepted a seat, then also you can withdraw the accepted seat before the last round of jossa counseling by appearing at the reporting center. After last round counseling, no refunding will be done, if you have not taken the seat.
To get the refund, you have to fill the bank account details and upload an image of cancelled cheque and download the withdrawal request letter and then the letter must be signed by you and your parents and then report to the reporting centre with that withdrawal letter.

Almost all colleges take admission for PCB students in engineering course after NEP. You should give all the engineering entrance exam and secure a rank to get into the engineering college of your choice. For PCB students, you should also devote time for mathematics as it has the highest precedence in percentile calculation.
