Hello Samprita Shivanagoudar, changing colleges in 2nd year of engineering is of course possible theoretically. However in practice almost every college puts lots and lots of impediments. This is because they feel that one fees paying student is leaving them and there earning will stop to that extent. Hence my sincere advices that you should think of changing the institute I have initial that is from first year itself once again giving up your admission in your present college. Of course you should do this if the surrounding and the situation is so bad that it is almost next to impossible for you to survive in that campus. Again theoretically you should approach the administrative staff of your college for knowing the procedure for change of branch or the change of college or the change of University which award you are attempting.
