Dear Shaurya, Both are good institutes but being alumni of LPU, I am sharing the details of the ECE at LPU as my friend did M.Tech in ECE there. LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the EEE/ECE department. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Both the branches are 2 different streams. If you aim to be a software engineer or if you are a good coder you can opt for VIT. If your aim is to become a mechanical engineer you can opt sastra. Now a days software industry has high demand if they study well they can get job easily that is not the case for mechanical engineering.

Mostly you will get mechanical, if there is a chance in rare cases you will get EEE or civil.

Hello Pankaj Kumar, I would like to advise you to have patience. Fourth session of JEE Mains is already underway and NTA is likely to declare results of JEE Mains shortly thereafter. In the meantime to whet your appetite, I am giving cut-offs declared by NTA last year. Cut-off for JEE Advance
Candidates having at least 90.3765335 percentile will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. For EWS students the cut-off is 70.2435518, for OBC it is 72.8887969, SC - 50.1760245, ST - 39.0696101, PwD - 0.06185224

Hello S Fazeel, I am afraid that at present distance education mode for doing graduation in engineering is not available. You can think of doing AMIE instead, which is equivalent to graduation in engineering in all respects. Best wishes to you.

Hello Rabia, the requirements of certificates was known even at the time of filling up the application form for thus examination. Right? Have you taken up case with grievance redressal cell?
