CSE and mechanical both are engineering course but are quite different from each other. CSE deal with computer programming and mechanical deals with machines, first make up your mind in which you are interested, as a faculty at LPU, LPU offers both these courses and I can share the highlights. 1. Student after successful completion of 2 years at LPU may be given the option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of the programme

LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres.
1-The infrastructure of the university as well as the hostel is top class and the university is being awarded for the same. The whole university is having a Wi-Fi connection including the hostel. Labs, Libraries, Classrooms are fully well-equipped with the necessary equipment.
2-The quality of facilities in the hostel is good. The quality of food in mess and canteen is good. There is one university hospital inside the University and 2 ambulances in case of emergency. There are 2 gyms inside the university and one Olympic size swimming pool and a badminton court inside the university. There are various basketball courts inside the university.

Dear Neeraj, Both LPU and CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY are the best and growing institutes day by day but as alumni of LPU I would love to provide you with the details of B.Tech CSE at LPU as I am not much aware of the same programme at Chandigarh University. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities.
