Hello Shall, yes this is the acronym for the entrance test that the state government of Uttar Pradesh has prescribed for getting admission to any of the engineering colleges in that state. According to my opinion, pursuing a B.Tech at Chandigarh University is better as compared to pursuing the same from others. Hello Akhilesh, I must say that you have received quite good percentile in your JEE Mains examination. In addition you are from OBC category. Hence I feel that you should get admission in either of the NIT's that you have mentioned. However it is also recommended that you download the college predictors available on the net and SEE for yourself where you stand as far as probable admissions in different branches in different NIT's. Each state has its own procedure for giving admission to the students for Diploma courses in different branches.
