It's good that you are interested in JEE Mains and advance exam at this age, probably you are in 9th or 10th. If you ask me ( dummy/regular) what is good for individual, I will say both are equally good, it is you who, what is good for you. In dummy inst. They only focus on three subject "PCM" other then u have to do on your own for the 12th board exam. Well, it is good that u can focus only on 3 subject, but then ask yourself will you be able to put extra efforts in those 2 subjects that are in 12th board exam, eligiblity percentage is 75% in board to get in good college. Hello Shubhra, I can understand the angst I am the anxiety in the minds of a girl who has just passed 12th. There are varieties of fields explore and engineering should be only one of them. My sincere advice would be not to get influenced by peer pressure but you should choose your own career in a subject that you love and like. To tell you frankly more than 50% of the fresh graduate engineers are not finding jobs. Hence getting admission in an engineering course should not be considered as achieving everything in life. Hello Shubhra Rathi, frankly speaking engineering jobs involve invariably a good amount of field work. But this may not be I am exactly correct statement. This is so since there are many jobs clearly in the research sector or in teaching sector or in design sector where engineer is required work in closed environment and does not have much work in the field. Perhaps it or computers will be one area of engineering there could be almost no field work. Hello Benarjial, your ranking in the entrance exam for engineering colleges conducted by the state of Andhra Pradesh is reasonably good. I feel that due to this fact you should get admission in the your desired branch and desired college. The Govt. Polytechnic Orai has the placement cell and provide opportunities to deserving students in their placements. However as per the reviews of Ex. students, the placement record of this college is not too satisfactory and only 5-10% of students get placed here.

Keeping the last year of trends in consideration, you can get the ECE, EIE, Mechanical and Civil in asked college under general category. While chances for CSE are moderate.
