Environment and development are definitely two sides of the same coin. If one choose for development, then one has to sacrifice the environment and ecology or if you conserve environment then development is not there.
Today in developing nations like India, there is a need for both. As industrialization in growing the environment and ecology is being damaged. The more number of industries, the more damage to ecology. We all know about the increasing alarm rate of pollution in various cities like Delhi.
Also, as the Population of India is growing at faster rate, so the needs are also growing for an individual which is resulting in more exploitation of natural resources and ecology. Also, the new technological development and improvement in technology like nuclear energy is somewhat posing threat to environment.
So, most of the developing nations need to visualize for the sustainable growth where development and environment conditions are balanced in such a way such that it does not affect the needs of present and future generation.
