For MBA at School of Engineering and Technology candidates seeking admission must follow the general eligibility criteria which includes:

  • Bachelor's degree: a degree from a recognised university and approved by AICTE.
  • A valid entrance exam score: accepted exams - CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, KARNATAKA 2nd PUC
  • Interview: an interview round or group discussion is held by selection committee.
  • Essay: a 15min essay round stating purpose of admission.

These are general eligibility criteria for MBA at School of Engineering and Technology.

Yes School of Engineering and Technology is one of the best college in Bangalore due to many of it's achievements.

The harsh and vast green lushy campus makes everyone's morning fresh there it's total students intake capacity is 3800 per year which makes the campus crowdy place.

The teaching quality of the teachers is quite good, the professor's are quite good experienced and are enthusiast for teaching and providing knowledge.

The fees of this college is also very affordable with a very high placements rate as compared to it's fees.

The branches are widely available in engineering domain around 9 engineering different engineering branches

No, School of Engineering and Technology is way cheaper than APS College of Engineering.

The total tution fees for Undergraduate courses in School of Engineering and Technology ranges from 3.4Lakh - 3.6Lakh INR. While the total tution fees for APS College of Engineering ranges from 6.3Lakh - 17Lakh INR which is more than twice that of School of Engineering and Technology. The placement difference in both the college is similar as both the colleges are affiliated to the same universities.

The total tution fee for Undergraduate courses at School of Engineering and Technology ranges from 3.4LAKH - 3.6LAKH INR.

The college also has very attractive placement packages. The highest placement package in School of Engineering and Technology Bangalore campus is 12LPA INR.

The lowest package recorded was 4LPA INR.

The average placement package recorded was 6LPA INR.

The affordablity of this college and the high placement rate of this college makes it a high ROI (return on investment).

But the point is that it's a bit tricky to get admission in these colleges as they are state funded GFTI'S.

Both have good placements at the School of Engineering and Technology, since B.Tech has a vast opportunity option and the ECE Branch would make more sense.

As with the ECE branch one can conqueror not even programming jobs but also the electronics sector.

  1. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): opt for this if you are interested in software development, programming, and computer technologies. CSE has the highest placement package.Electronics and 
  2. Communication Engineering (ECE): Suitable for those interested in communication systems, embedded systems, and electronic devices along with programming.
